Dialysis provider Corva Clinics acquires Innovative Renal Care

New dialysis provider Corva Clinics LLC and the private equity firm Flexpoint Ford LLC have acquired the assets of Innovative Renal Care. Corva is a partnership between Flexpoint, the former CEO of Renal Management Inc. Jerry Simonsen, and other senior managers that is focused on acquiring, developing, and operating dialysis clinics. Gambro Healthcare acquired Renal Management Inc. in 2001.

Innovative Renal Care a Houston company that currently serves approximately 100 patients with end-stage renal disease. Freemu Varghese, MD, one of the owners of Innovative Renal Care, will remain as its medical director. Corva will acquire independent dialysis clinics, develop de novo clinics in partnership with nephrologists, and seek other opportunities to integrate all dialysis services.
