Chicago-area family settles with Fresenius Medical Care over dialysis patient death

The family of a dialysis patient who died after receiving treatment at a Fresenius Medical Care clinic in Berwyn, Ill. has settled with the dialysis company after filing suit, NBC Chicago reports. The complaint alleged that Teresa Gaytan''s death was the result of a series of mistakes made by the clinic staff. Fresenius admitted no wrongdoing in the case, NBC Chicago reports.
