• Suspect in murder of former Arizona Kidney Foundation director had been released weeks before Feb. 9 The Maricopa County Attorney's Office in Arizona has confirmed that the man suspected of murdering former Arizona Kidney Foundation executive director Glenna Shapiro and her husband Lawrence had been jailed in December on suspicion of other crimes but was released due to a lack of evidence.
