On Jan. 19, researchers from the Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study presented a webinar on emerging trends from its Dialysis Practice Monitor. The webinar, available here, had three objectives:

• Provide summary information about recent payment and regulatory changes that may affect U.S. dialysis care
• Explain the U.S. DOPPS Practice Monitor sampling of dialysis facilities and how the study serves as an early indicator of trends in U.S. hemodialysis care
• Describe recent trends in hemodialysis care seen in the DPM, with a focus on areas most affected by changing incentives
