HealthCare Partners LLC announced a merger with Arizona Integrated Physicians (AIP). HealthCare Partners, based in Torrance, Calif., manages and operates medical groups and affiliated physician networks in California, Nevada, New Mexico and Florida. It is a subsidiary of DaVita HealthCare Partners, which owns the dialysis provider DaVita. AIP is one of Arizona’s largest independent physician networks and comprises more than 700 physicians.

“AIP is a great addition to the HealthCare Partners family and further expands our geographic coverage to Arizona,” said Robert J. Margolis, MD, CEO of HealthCare Partners and co-chairman of DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. “We are excited to join forces with AIP and its talented physician community to partner with area hospitals and other clinical organizations to deliver patient-centered, coordinated care throughout Arizona.”
