INFIAN announced that its electronic health record and dialysis billing system, TIME v7.2 SP17, is now compliant with the ONC 2011 Edition criteria. The program was certified as a Complete EHR on July 31, 2013 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT), an ONC-authorized certification body, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC 2011 Edition criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
“By achieving certification of the TIME System we show our strongest commitment to the renal industry,“ said Beth Evans, CEO of Infian. "Without a doubt it is a milestone event in the history of the TIME System – one for which our team should be immensely proud.”
The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011 Edition criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more – but not all – of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services for either eligible provider or hospital technology.
