The National Renal Administrators Association is asking its members to help them come up with a new name, the association, whose board is comprised of members from hospital-based and free standing dialysis centers, announced in an email Oct. 9.The NRAA said they plan on keeping the same initials.
"The name 'National Renal Administrators Association' has served the association well, but it doesn't effectively incorporate who we represent today. We are now a trade association that represents dialysis organizations and the many different disciplines within those organizations," according to the email.
The NRAA also launched a new logo at the fall conference (pictured). It includes three links that the association said represent their collaboration and focus on advocacy, education, and services.
